When I first stepped into public service, I didn’t have all the answers, but I knew the questions were worth asking.
Why are our taxes so high while basic services fall behind?
Why do public meetings feel like closed-door sessions?
And why does transparency always seem to come after a scandal?
These questions, and the people who asked them—are what gave birth to AIM4WILL.
AIM stands for Accountability, Involvement, and Modernization. It’s not a political campaign. It’s a transparency initiative—designed to unite everyday citizens, elected officials, and community leaders who believe that local government should serve the people, not itself.
Over the next several weeks, this Substack will serve as a window into:
How your tax dollars are spent in Will County and beyond
Stories of both broken systems and quiet heroes trying to fix them
Real opportunities to get involved—without needing to run for office
We’ll ask tough questions, but we’ll also offer real solutions. And we’ll do it without shouting—because facts are louder than spin.
If you're a taxpayer, a parent, a veteran, a business owner—or just someone who still believes government should work for the people—this space is for you.
Thank you for reading. Stay informed. Stay involved. And stay tuned.
